Deep Research Agents


Overview


In Allstacks, Deep Research Agents produce AI-powered analyses autonomously, acting as a strategic engineering intelligence partner – identifying risks, analyzing patterns, and recommending actions before problems escalate.

We have the following deep research agents available:

  1. Delivery Risk Agent: Assess delivery risk for any key initiative through AI-powered analysis that surfaces risk drivers, technical components, and specific actionable recommendations for risk reduction

  1. Workflow Analysis Agent: Maps cross-team ticket flows and detects workflow failure modes, bouncebacks, bottlenecks, and success paths through AI-powered pattern analysis across your entire development process

 

  1. Requirements Readiness Agent: Automatically flags tickets with incomplete or ambiguous requirements using industry best practices and prescribed rules, providing feedback like a senior developer with codebase context

Reports have the following Token Costs:

Delivery Risk Report: 1 Token
Workflow Report: 1 Token
Requirements Analysis Reports: 1 Token

Finding the Reports Page

To find our reports page within Allstacks.

  1. When we head back into our Organization we’ll select the dropdown from the Company Name.

  1. From this Dropdown we’ll select AI Reports


Navigating AI Reports Management

  1. When first entering into the AI Reports page you’ll see your Report History, Generate Reports, Token Balance.

    1. Report History is a table containing all of your previously run reports.

      1. Check the Status on a report.

      2. The Runtime (The time it has taken for the report to complete from when it was first generated.)

      3. The Requested Date (Displayed in ISO 8601 date and time format.)

      4. Token Cost

v. From this table you’ll have the ability to perform Actions with currently run reports.

b. Generate Reports is where we will input information such as the Type of Report (The report offerings currently available: Risk Delivery, Workflow, & Requirement Analysis), Workspace Name (Workspace), Parent Service Item Name (The Unique Name associated with a Parent Item), Recipients (An email address to which the generated report will deliver to).

c. Token Balance this the current balance available to generate new reports.

 

Running a Report

To run our existing Reports there are several steps we need to follow to locate the Name required in order to run the report.

Delivery Risk Report

Delivery Risk Reports take parent items such as Epics, Initiatives, and Features to build out an overall assessment of the risk on the effort. Using our matrix it will build Risk Scores and actions that can be taken as an organization.

We look to run this report week-to-week to action and then perceive the effects taken from last week’s report in the current.

Steps:

  1. We will first need to find the Parent Service Item ID.

When looking to identify an Epic or other Parent Item, what items that are in flight (currently being worked on) that you would like to develop insights on.

  1. For the Item there are two ways that we can locate the Parent Service Item Name.

  1. Head to Deliverables in your left sidebar.

  2. Here you’ll be taken to your Portfolio Reports, which may already have a list of Milestones already available.

    1. If your Milestone is listed:

      1. We can go ahead a click on the Item’s name.

      2. Once on the full report you’ll see in the site slug the Parent Service Item Name.

b. If the Milestone is not on the list:

i. We’ll click the Add Milestones button.

ii. We can perform a look up by a specific Parent whether it be Sprint, Epic, etc. Once located, click the Thumbtack icon next to name in order to add it to your Table.

iii. Once added you can follow the steps ‘If your Milestone is listed’.

  1. You will head into Tools => Work Items to head to the WIT.

  1. Under Work Items you’ll perform a search for the requested Item.

  1. There are multiple ways to perform this query through Advanced Filters, Allstacks AI, or Work Items drop-down.

  1. Once located click on the Item within the table to bring-up the additional info sidebar for the item.

  1. We’ll plug the Parent Service Item Name into our field and then Generate Report.

  2. Once the report has been requested it will appear in your Report History in Status: running.

The time it takes the report to run several hours depending on volume of data.

  1. When the report is generated the recipients will receive an email titled, [Allstacks] AI-Powered Deliverable Risk Report for [Readable ID] [Issue Name].

  2. The email will include the summary along with attachments for Per Item Risk Details and Report Matrix.

Workflow Report

The Workflow Report maps how work actually flows across teams and identifies process improvement opportunities with quantified business impact.

Steps:

  1. We will first need to find the Workspace Name.

When looking to identify Workspace Name review which Workspace(s) you want to review.

  1. For the Workspace Name we can find this by heading to the dropdown in top-left to find all listed Workspaces?

When looking to identify a Workspace Name, ensure you have added items that are currently in flight (currently being worked on) that you would like to develop insights on.

  1. We’ll plug the Workspace Name into our field then Generate Report.

    1. Include any desired recipients.

    2. Set a Date Range to review.

  1. Once the report has been requested it will appear in your Report History in Status: running.

The time it takes the report to run can take several hours depending on the volume of data.

  1. When the report is generated the recipients will receive an email titled, [Allstacks] AI-Powered for [Workspace].

  2. The email will include the summary along with attachments for Per Workspace details and Report Matrix.

 

Requirement Analysis Report

The Requirement Analysis report is for anything in-flight or need to be started that has scope remaining you would want to run this report to ensure there is no gap in scope or requirements.

Steps:

  1. We will first need to find the Parent Service Item Name.

When looking to identify an Epic or other Parent Service Item Name, reach out to the customer and define what items that are in flight (currently being worked on) that they would like to develop insights on.

  1. When the report is generated you the recipients will receive an email titled, [Allstacks] AI-Powered for [Readable ID] [Issue Name].

  2. The email will include the summary along with attachments for Per Requirement Analysis Details and Report Matrix.
