How to send risk notifications to Slack or Teams Channels via Email

In addition to receiving a daily digest email of your risk notifications, you can also send the risks to specific Slack or Teams channels. (Update: view ‘Slackbot for Risk Alerts’ for Slack integration)

1. Identify the channel email address.

1a. Slack

In Slack, click on the channel name > select ‘Integrations’ > select ‘Send emails to this channel’:

1b. Teams

In Teams, select the '…' icon for the channel in question > select ‘Get email address’

2. Set up User Profile in Allstacks

To receive risk notifications, the channel email address needs to be set up as a user.

Go to Allstacks > User Management > select ‘Create User’:

3. Add Email to Risk

Once the user is setup, go to the desired workspace and add the email address to the risk notification preferences.

4. Tada! (Results)

Upon the completion of the nightly sync, you’ll receive the following notification in your desired channel. Similar to the email, you can click into the risk links.
