Goals & Alerts
Goals and Alerts can be found in a number of places throughout the Allstacks platform, including in the Milestone and Work Items Reports. All workspaces start out with a default set of standard alerts and they can be totally customized for each workspace in your organization. Each workspace in Allstacks can be configured to deliver daily alert digests via email or slack so that the people responsible know what items need attention every morning.
Goals in the Milestone, Work Items, and other Reports
Goals in Allstacks are used to describe the working agreements for each team, so that any items that fall out of bounds get called out in the form of an Alert. Clicking on any item containing an Alert will provide more detail around the offending issue, as seen in the below example on the Milestone Report.

Customizable Goals
To create a goal with custom parameters, select the ‘Goals’ in the left-hand nav bar. From there, you can create a custom goal for Issues, Pull Requests, or Commits and set values based on the time they have been open, what state they are in, and other pertinent details that you’d like to be notified of. As Allstacks pulls in your data each day, you’ll be notified of any item that meets your specific parameters, so that you can be aware and stay on top of any potential Goals.

Sending Alerts to Slack or Email
On the Goals page, if your user has permission to configure the workspace, you will see options for sending alerts to email or slack. You can choose which goals are important enough to be externalized daily.
