Date Picker in the Work Items Table
Date picker is available in the WIT, and it mimics the same behavior as the dashboards' date picker. You can choose any set date range or any of the pre-configured trailing dates options.
If you have work item tables that use date configuration as part of the advanced filters, it is recommended to update those tables to use the date picker instead to improve loading performance.
Sep 23, 2025
People Picker in the Work Items Table
People picker is available in the WIT. The new capability includes:
Select the user field you want to use for filtering, such as assignee, created by, etc.
If you add a WIT to a dashboard, and a people filter is used on that dashboard, the WIT will now update accordingly.
If you have selected a user field for people filtering in your WIT, that field will be used when applying dashboard filters.
Suppose you don't have a user field selected for people filtering on your WIT. In that case, the user field will default to assignee, or whatever your leftmost user-type column is in your WIT table (even if the table isn’t visible on the dashboard).

Amazon Q
Allstacks now supports a Beta integration with Amazon Q. These metrics allow teams to monitor performance, usage, and health of AWS Q Developer services.
Read more about the configuration and connection instructions here.
Heatmaps in Work Items
A new visualization option for heatmaps has been added to our Work Items.
To access this option, click on the blue “Visualization” button at the top after creating a query → select what you want to group by on the x and y axes.
When switching from other chart types to a heat map, the “series” converts into the “y axis” and vice versa, so that changing chart types preserves your selections as much as possible.

Preferred Email Domains
You can now set the preferred email domains for easier contributor and roster management. This ensures that when syncing csv rosters, we will match on the domain you have chosen as the preferred email domain, and that domain will be the primary domain of all contributors.
Notes:
This does not address situations where a user has multiple email addresses at the same domain.
If you add multiple domains, it will use that as a priority list, meaning when the first domain isn’t available, it will default to the next in the list.
This requires the nightly sync to take effect.
To update your preferred domain, navigate to “Contributors” → Click on the 3 dots on the top right → Click on “Preferred Email Domains”.
Expanded CSV Sync Options
CSV sync options have been expanded significantly and also include messages explaining their use, improving the usability of csv roster syncing. Each option can be checked individually to produce the combination of effects desired. Each of these options can be invoked using the API as well, enabling you to set up automatic syncing.
Cursor Usage Tags
We now generate Cursor usage tags just like Copilot tags. To get usage tags, connect Cursor through the Tools page like any other integration. Then, after our nightly sync, these tags will be generated.
July 15, 2025
Cursor Data:
You can now connect Cursor by entering an api key, and see a comprehensive set of usage metrics.
The data includes:
Code Acceptance Rate Over Time: Daily acceptance rate for both code completions (tabs) and applies. Shows trends in Al suggestion quality and developer trust.
Net Code Contribution by Al: Actual code impact of Al assistance by tracking accepted lines added vs deleted. Reveals whether Al is helping write new features or refactoring
Feature Usage Distribution: Daily usage of different Cursor features to understand workflow patterns and which Al features developers rely on most.
File Type Analysis: Lines of code added by file extension to understand activity across different languages.
Limitations:
Not enabled by default - reach out to your CSM to enable it in your account.
User Tags - Does not respect tags and other groupings, but will be added later this year.

All Parents Mode in Work Item Table
Allows you to create columns in the WIT that show values for a property from any parent of each returned item. This is especially useful for Investment Hours use cases since Investment Hours activity (apart from orphaned commits) always has a parent card.
Note that only properties from parents are returned in an “All Parents” column. If an individual ticket has the property, it won’t show up in an “All Parents” column on itself.
July 10, 2025
Work Item Table now has new chart types:
grouped column
stacked column
stacked percent column
line
This will allow you to set multiple data groupings in the same chart rather than having to pick a single property to group by.
Navigate to Configure → Work Items → Choose the data for the metric on the top → Click on visualization on the top right.

User Management enhancements:
Roster Management options moved into a 3-dot menu on the top right.
User Management page is now sortable.
User Management page is now searchable.
May 15, 2025
Attainment Widget Enhancement:
You can now create attainment widgets for multiple boards to allow you to see a higher level or roll-up view rather than using a single board.
May 7, 2025
Co-Pilot Metrics Enhancements:
Adoption Metric: It now shows users in the state of active vs. inactive instead of the prior state of active, invited, not using, and not invited.
Active - Took action that week.
Inactive - Took no action that week.
The new categorization will allow you to drill down and view the contributors by name who fall into each category.User Tags - We have replaced the co-pilot tags with more granular tags. Now, you’ll be able to see how recently the activity with co-pilot was performed.
Old Tag | New Tags |
Copilot User | “Copilot Activity 0-7 days ago” |
“Copilot Activity 8-30 days ago”
“Copilot Activity 31-60 days ago”
“Copilot Activity 61-90 days ago”
Not a Copilot User | “No Copilot Activity in past 90 days” |
“Not Invited in Copilot” (never invited, therefore never accepted, there) |
For additional information, visit the Co-Pilot KB article.

Restricted Viewer User Role: This new user type allows you to create users with “read only” access and no editing capabilities. Give this access to users who would consume the information but won’t build or change anything in the platform.
Users with this access can - View Dashboards, Deliverables, Milestones, Goals, and DORA
Users with this access cannot - Access Metrics or WIT, configure a metric, edit a dashboard, edit a deliverables report, update Milestones, or configure DORA.
To update users with the new role, navigate to “User Management” and change the “Role” column.

AI-powered Insights: Get insights and recommendations that are AI-driven, based on the dashboards that you subscribe to. You will receive the insights via email and in a PDF format.
The summary will include:
Summary - An observation of the populated metrics in your dashboard. For example, metrics missing/exceeding your target, outliers, alignment with goals, high activity projects, productivity areas, and any big changes that occurred.
Recommendations — Next steps to improve internal metrics, such as work allocation ideas to improve focus, prioritization suggestions, identifying projects with process improvement potential, and more.
To receive the AI insights, go to the dashboard you want to subscribe to, click on the 3 dots on the top right, and click subscribe. You will receive the report every Sunday.

Sprint attainment and sprint velocity widgets - A new option when creating or editing sprint attainment or sprint velocity widgets is to only show sprints created in the board you selected.
Reasoning - In Jira, you can have boards that subscribe to other boards and bring in those other boards' sprints. Often, there are situations where somebody is using the board differently than the team is using it and the new change will allow this behavior.

Date picker inputs are formatted as dates, and is no longer free text. You can highlight a portion of the date and use your up and down arrows to increment that part of the date, or you can quickly type and tab your way through specifying a more specific set of dates.

All source data tables can now be downloaded as a csv, giving you the full paginated list of all data so you can investigate further in your favorite spreadsheet tool. The new download csv button is in the top right of the source data table section on metrics.
Benefits:
The csv includes all the data regardless of how many pages.
If you've clicked on a series in the chart and filtered the source data that way, your downloaded csv will only show those items you filtered to. This lets you narrow the scope of the csv as desired.
Use the downloaded csv to sort and filter the full data set and potentially build some metrics yourself
Use the downloaded csv and the concatenate function in your favorite spreadsheet tool to get a list of IDs to take into jira or another source tool and pull up those specific cards, commits, prs, etc.
Limitations:
The columns included in the csv export are what you see in the app. You can't customize them to include additional columns.
Sorting columns in the app still only applies to the current page of data
