Tools Connect: Bitbucket

Allstacks collects data about your commits, pull requests, branches, and other related coding activities for a complete view of engineering efforts.

Allstacks supports service connection to Bitbucket cloud or on-prem. The connection to Bitbucket Cloud is established either via OAuth or App Password. For Bitbucket server on-prem we connect via OAuth or API Token.

Bitbucket - Connect to Bitbucket Cloud via OAuth

  • Before starting, confirm that you are actively signed into Bitbucket with the account you wish to connect to Allstacks.

    • User needs read permissions for all repos you want to analyze in Allstacks

  • Note that selecting “ADD TOOL” will open up a new tab starting the authorization process in Bitbucket.

Tools Connection to Bitbucket Cloud via OAuth

 

  • On successful connection, you will see a list of resources you can toggle on and off the organization and repositories respectively. In the event this list is blank you may need to press “Refresh Resources”.

 

Bitbucket (Basic) - Connect to Bitbucket Cloud via App Password

  • Before starting, confirm that you are actively signed into Bitbucket with the account you wish to connect to Allstacks.
